Nice to meet you, I’m Caroline!
Photography has been a passion of mine since I was a teenager and I’ve been working in the industry for over 15 years. In 2013 I quit my job as the manager of a mall portrait studio to be fully self-employed. It was absolutely terrifying but also the best decision I ever made.
Some fun facts about me:
I’m completely obsessed with ice cream.
I make it in my free time and take fancy photos of my creations. I really enjoy thinking of new flavor combinations and bringing them to life. Whenever I visit a new city I try to find the top rated local scoop shops and try them out. I even have a large ice cream tattoo taking up the majority of my left arm.
I love to walk and hike.
Going on long walks has become part of my daily routine. In 2020 I set a personal goal for myself to walk 2020 miles and finished 2 weeks early! Mountains are a happy place. There’s nothing quite like that feeling of reaching a summit and taking in the view. Fact: all food tastes better on a mountain!
I’ve always been very drawn to music and performance.
When I was really young I told my parents that I planned on becoming an opera singer. As a teenager I wanted to be on Broadway. I eventually realized that my strongest skills were in the visual arts and decided to pursue photography. But I have continued to keep music and performance close to me by attending all the local shows and befriending as many artists as possible.
